The Estate Agent’s 30-Minute Marketing Routine

Your marketing doesn’t need to take over your entire day.

You don’t need to spend hours of your life, at your desk, content planning or producing polished videos or the perfect Instagram feed.

Thirty minutes is all you need to keep yourself visible to your audience, stay connected with people, and build up your personal brand.

Here’s how to break down that 30 minutes.

10 Minutes: Be Social

Take 10 minutes out of your morning or afternoon, to go through your inbox and do the following:

  • Reply to comments
  • Answer messages
  • Comment on posts from local businesses or people in your area.

If you’re posting something yourself, keep it simple.

Share a property, a local update, something from your day or answer a question clients regularly ask you. People want to see the person behind the estate agent.

10 Minutes: Talk to Someone

You can reach out to an old client.
Send them a seasonal greeting or simply check in on how they are doing.

Make sure to follow up with someone you met recently.
You can send them a quick WhatsApp message or email. Keep nurturing those potential leads!

Check in with a past valuation.
You don’t need to sell to them, just ask how they’re doing and how they are feeling about the move.

Estate agency is built on relationships, and staying in touch means you’re much more likely to be remembered when someone eventually needs an agent.

5 Minutes: Check What’s Happening Locally

Have a quick look at what’s going on in your area.

  • Are there any events happening?
  • Is there a new business opening up?
  • What’s the latest community news?
  • Are there any fundraisers you can take part in?

Being known as a local estate agent isn’t just about selling houses. It’s actually being part of the community, too.

5 Minutes: Make Tomorrow Easier

Write down one person you want to contact tomorrow and one thing you could post about. That’s it. No staring at your phone the next morning wondering what to say.

Keep It Simple

The best estate agent marketing usually isn’t complicated. Thirty minutes might not sound like much, but doing it regularly adds up. When someone eventually thinks, “We should probably speak to an estate agent…”.

You want to be the person they go to!
